ZIP+4 and barcoded mailings did not exist at that time allowing PMSI to help customers reduce postage costs by manually presorting mail. Automation initiatives by the USPS enabled us to become experts on database management and list cleansing to further reduce postage costs. This led to our expertise with address file manipulation allowing us to provide prospect lists for customers. Direct mail was superceded by fax communications which were eventually replaced with email communications in a rapidly changing technology landscape. PMSI Direct met this quick-paced evolution by offering digital marketing services early on.

As PMSI Direct grew, our services expanded to include creative design for sales and marketing initiatives. Soon after, the Internet provided additional opportunities to create custom web sites and targeted email campaigns designed to acquire new customers and sell more of our clients' products and services to their customers. The advent of one-to-one marketing proved successful for PMSI due to our knowledge of the marketplace and our ability to meet the needs of our clients.
